Directions
For food safety and quality: Keep frozen. Do not thaw. Microwave directions developed with 1100-watt microwave ovens. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed. Food must be cooked thoroughly to 165 degrees F. Stove Top – Full Bag (Preferred Method): 1. Empty entire frozen meal into a deep 12-inch nonstick skillet. Add 1/2 cup of water. 2. Cover and cook over medium-high heat 16 to 22 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3 Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it’s hot! Stir and serve. Stove Top – 1/3 Bag (Preferred Method): 1. Empty one-third of the frozen meal (about 6 cups) into a large nonstick skillet. Add 1/4 cup of water. 2 Cover and cook over medium-high heat 9 to 11 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3 Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it’s hot! Stir and serve. Microwave Oven: 1/3 Bag. Do not microwave in bag. 1. Empty one-third of the frozen meal (about 6 cups) into an 8-inch square microwave-safe dish. Add 2 tablespoons of water and cover. 2 Microwave on high 5 minutes; stir thoroughly and replace cover. 3 Microwave an additional 4 to 6 minutes. 4. Check that food is cooked thoroughly. Careful, it’s hot! Let stand covered 2 minutes. Stir and serve.
